Co-presented by The Blue Study (L4 17), a music studio at JCCAC, and the Hong Kong Tango Orquesta, acclaimed Argentine tango maestro Lautaro Greco comes to Hong Kong for a special workshop on tango music and history, followed by a mini-concert, featuring both solo performance and original compositions, performed together with Ruda Lee, Chau Chuck-jee, and Justin Siu.
More than a concert, this will be a rare chance for Hong Kong audiences to encounter an artist who stands at the centre of the Argentine tango tradition while continuing to shape its contemporary voice—bringing to the stage the intensity, elegance, and living spirit of tango at the highest level.
Widely regarded as one of the leading bandoneonists in contemporary Argentine tango, Greco is celebrated for his technical brilliance, stylistic authority, and deeply compelling interpretations. His career has placed him at the heart of Argentina's major tango institutions and ensembles, including the Leopoldo Federico Orchestra, Sexteto Mayor, Quinteto Astor Piazzolla, Quinteto Revolucionario, and the Juan de Dios Filiberto National Orchestra of Argentine Music, with which he has appeared as a soloist since 2007.
